WEB SITE VISITORS MAKE FREE DONATION OF ¼ ACRE OF WILDERNESS
EACH MONTH -- 1000 acres already saved

Ann Arbor, MI -- EcologyFund.com (www.EcologyFund.com) is a click-to-donate wilderness Web site that has preserved over 1000 acres of land since its launch in February. It costs nothing for site visitors to preserve 389 square feet of wild land per day. With the recent addition of a new land preservation partner, and two new sponsors, users who visit the site daily can click-to-save 1/4 acre of wilderness land each month.

How does it work?
Visitors to EcologyFund raise funds by clicking on the "donate" button for each of the four projects: Patagonia Coastal Reserve, American Wilderness, Amazon Basin Rainforest, and Canadian Wild Lands. The visitor then views a page of sponsor banner ads. The sponsors pay a per-view fee each month to the individual nonprofit land preservation groups. One hundred percent of the sponsors' payments go to EcologyFund's nonprofit partners. Currently, the Rainforest Trust, the Wilderness Land Trust, and the Nature Conservancy of Canada are official partners of EcologyFund and have projects benefiting from the site. EcologyFund.com is the only click-to-donate Web site that offers projects in both North and South America, and the first and only site to offer a Canadian project.

Additional Sponsors Mean More Land Saved
Within the last week, EcologyFund.com has added two new sponsors to the Web site. More sponsors of the site means more land is preserved with each visit. The new sponsors are Working Assets and Zeal.com. Working Assets is a supplier of long distance, credit card, and online services that donates a percentage of its revenue to progressive nonprofits working toward social change. Zeal.com is the leading community-driven Web directory powered by user ratings and reviews. Every Zeal member has the opportunity to rate and review Web sites and submit new sites to the Zeal directory. And, with Zeal's new "Share your Zeal" program, members may now earn money for their favorite charity when they add a new Web site, rate a Web site, or refer a friend.

EcologyFund is proud to currently have seven site sponsors: Whole People/Whole Foods, Novica, CoolSavings.com, iPrint, CharityMall, and now Working Assets and Zeal.com. Links to their Web sites can be accessed from the sponsor banner page on EcologyFund.com.

Commenting on the site's expansion EcologyFund founder Tim Kunin says, "If every user got their friends and family to make a 60 second visit to EcologyFund each day, they would be responsible for saving acres of threatened wilderness land each month."
